Incorporation? I need to get incorporated to start my own company online...I checked websites, but I still don't know if I should be a S, C corp or LLC. I also noticed that it was very expensive..is there any way for me to get incorp at a reasonable cost?
What is the best state to form an incorporation. Should cost be the only issue? Thinking about forming an incorporation for my publishing business. I have been thinking about incorporating in Louisiana, they have lowered the rate to only $60.00 and Texas cost is $300! a huge difference. I currently live in Houston, but also have roots in Louisiana. I do not have office space yet, but need to make a decision so I can move forward in many ways. Should I incorporate in Texas since this is where I am living for the time being or take the break and incorporate in LA? What would be my benefits?
What is a pro forma decree of incorporation? I can't find anything saying our church is a not for profit organization (although I've always thought it was), but I found a pro forma decree of incorporation. Are there any similarities between the two?
What is the best form of incorporation for this idea? An online business started by 3 American citizens operating out of Argentina. Assuming the annual assets of the business equal approximately $750,000USD, it would obviously be beneficial to incorporate outside of the US for taxation reasons, however we are debating the best type of incorporation to use. Articles of incorporation: what to write for one person company? I would like to incorporate, for liability reasons, but its a one person (me) company. I have no idea what to put for articles of incorporation, and I don't want to hire a lawyer to incorporate for me. Is it important what I put? How does incorporation of personal music work with Electronic Pianos? Do you HAVE to have three officers to form a incorporation? I am in the process of incorporating my business. I am choosing to do a corporation, but someone told me you had to have at least THREE officers in order to do that. Is that true? A friend of mine formed a corporation with only one officer (herself) which would be my situation.
