Anybody know of a good inexpensive landscaper near the California East Bay?
I need some quality tile work done.

- no
- Yes swing a 6 foot stick outside and the first person you hit will be a landscaper.
- being "Mexican" does not qualify you as a landscaper. try going to www.lawnsite.com There's a home owners assistance forum there and I'm sure you'll find someone if you post that's in your area. Just remember however. "Quality" work usually doesn't include the word "inexpensive".
- post your request on CRAIGSLIST.ORG you'll get TONS of responses in the first 24 hours
- sorry, I don't
- You might also want to contact the nearest Community College or University with a landscaping curriculum and see if they can recommend recent graduates or other sources
- nope
- Look for people who have studied the trade, and have done only few jobs, they'll be dying for more experience and you'll save a buck or two.
- My trick is to buy plants from a high quality plant store. You will get the best plants which can make a huge difference. Often, they will guarantee them and offer free landscaping advice. Make sure that the plants are suited to your area because your yearly expense will include those plants you have to replace. Many people would welcome someone to remove plants that divide each year like lillies and monkey grass. Check with your friends. I just planted a bed like this that would have cost at least $3000 and used mostly plants such as ginger, iron plant, monkey grass, verigated mondo grass and shrimp plants that had simply multiplied in my yard. Make sure that your soil is good first for about 6" at least and that you finish off with a good mulsh to keep your plants well watered. Good luck and I hope this helps.
