What is the difference between articles of incorporation and the articles of association?

I'm trying to sort out my tax situation for my company and its charity wing, and am trying to work out which of these I need. Help!

Articles of incorporation is made by the incorporators of a corporation while the articles of association, by the members of an association. These documents are needed for purposes of registration with the proper agency in order for them to acquire their respective legal personalities.
